Itinerary

1 day. 12km, 1130m► Departure from Yerevan, drive to Dilijan National Park (110km). Trekking from Jukhtak to Haghartsin monasteries.

2 day. 14km, 500m► Trekking from Haghartsin monastery towards village Hovk.

3 day. 14km, 500m ► Continue trekking to village Hovk.

4 day. 15km, 800m ► Trekking to the fortress. Return to Yerevan (120km)

5 day:  14km,  410m,  50km

50km drive from Yerevan to Aragats village (2050m). ► 14km climb from the village to the foot of the mountain (3360m) and making a camp.

6 day:  4km, 730m

2km climb to the North Peak (4090m). ► 2km  descent to the crater (3550m) and making a camp. ► If we have enough time, we could do 5km optional hike to Gegharot waterfall (3000m).

7 day:  7km, 330m,  65km

2km climb to the South (3879m) or West (4008m) or both peaks. ► 5km  descent to Lake Kari (3207m). ► 65km drive to Yerevan.

  • 4 rain ponchos

  • Trekking trousers (2 preferable)
