Lake Kari or Kari Lich (stone lake) located on the slope of Aragats Mountain, under the South Peak, at the altitude of 3207m. It’s the most known start point for mountaineering routes because of good road. Unfortunately, the road is closed from November to May. Near the lake, there is the Cosmic Ray Division Institution.
On the road to Kari Lich, you can visit Amberd Fortress (6km from crossroad).
